As part of our mission to end period poverty, WUKA donates period pants, time, and money to various charities and organisations. Some of the charities we have been working with include:
- Surfers Against Sewage, a national marine conservation and campaigning charity that works to protect the ocean, beaches, and wildlife.
- Days For Girls, a charitable organization that aims to increase access to menstrual care and education. We are currently supporting their program in Nepal.
- The Hygiene Bank, a charity that aims to give people in the UK and Ireland access to basic hygiene products they need to feel clean, confident and healthy.
- City to Sea (Rethink Periods Campaign), this project aims to ensure that KS2/3 PSHE teachers and school nurses are equipped to deliver up-to-date education on periods and their environmental and social contexts.
